The products are checked based on two main parameters – durability and dimensional accuracy.
PET bottles, containers, and jars are usually manufactured using one of the two processes that are either a single-step process or a double-step process. The single-step process integrates the preform injection process with the preform stretch-blowing process, resulting in a product obtained directly from the plastic resin from a single machine. The two-step process manufactures products in two different stages using 2 different machines. In this process, the preforms injection molding is done using the injection machine and then the re-heating and stretch-blowing are done on the blowing machine.
